Gay Jealousy

Haha! I was just responding to another Slog article and came across this comment left by someone named Pox. I just spilled all my soda out my nose.

I've long been jealous of gay men. Straight men are attracted to members of an entire gender that doesn't even really like us.

Found on YouTube

Ok actually I found this through the Stranger's Slog but it is a YouTube Video. I miss 80s TV and Corky!

See what I mean

In my last post I mentioned YouTube being seeded with marketing ploys disguised as normal users! Here is an article I came across today as I was reading my daily blogs.

I KNEW IT!

YouTube Plants

As a huge fan of YouTube I have kept up on the latest YouTube videos and stars. The other night I was watching a Brookers video and I thought "Wow, this girl is extremely entertaining.

I watched all of her videos and checked out her myspace page and that is where I started to wonder if Brookers was planted by a corporation like MTV. Maybe they auditioned her and were like "Ok cool, we will put her on YouTube and make people think she is just some random funny person! Than we'll put her on TV!" I mostly don't believe this. Brookers is probably just a YouTube user who caught on, got a website made for her and a bunch of fans. But what's to stop MTV or some other company from putting a plant on YouTube. Someone they auditioned, someone who can seem like any normal user but is really just laying the ground work for a marketing campaign.

I'm not saying Brookers is a plant but she COULD be! Also, if MTV or other corporations aren't doing this kind of marketing, why not? I'm not a marketing guru though so what do I know. I can tell you this, Andy Milonakis was on the Internet before he had his show on MTV2 OR WAS HE!?

New Blog

So for weeks now I have lamented the fact that my main blog's template is screwed beyond anything I can remedy. I left Blogger a couple months ago because of it, that and no categories. But after trying so many other services they just didn't offer the freedom and creative options Blogger has.

Now, Blogger has categories and a WYSIWYG kinda thing going and I figures I would come back and try it out. I'd love to come back, it's unfortunate I can't move all my old posts here but hell, nothing i can do about that. I'll at least give this a shot.
